This weekend we finished the videos for the light scenes. The artwork is equiped with sensors to detect pedestrians and boats passing by or through, and different light scheme’s will display when the sensors are triggered. The image shows parts of waves that will flow to left and right in an endless surface, as the ring is a moebius. The waves represent the interaction between people, and their influence on the urban environment.

The video’s will now be translated by programmers into DMX-language for display on the led strips in the ring assembly. Next week, when the leds are attached to the ring, we can start testing!
