In commission for Pyrasied oRb developed a new light concept: “L’Arc-en-ciel” It is a volumentric lighting concept featuring a special diffusor product by Pyrasied called Ghost. It is highly transparent and disperses light by means of nano particles. With no light there is no visual difference between normal acrylic and Ghost acrylic.

The transparency inspired oRb to make a spatial structure with parts that seems to float in the air, radiating colored light. The colored light is complementary and adds up to white light. The statial arrangement casts shadows like rainbows; hence the name L’Arc-en-ciel.

L’Arc-en-ciel was on display in the LED-Expo in the Brabant Hallen in februari 2014, as part of the ‘LED dome’. It is now part of a private collection.
